About the Item

Sterling silver bon bon or sugar shovel by AF Towle and Son. No monogram. Simple but unique piece from AF Towle Son of Greenfield, MA, an offshoot of Towle Silversmiths active 1890-1902. This small shovel features a twist handle with a shovel shaped bowl. Measures 3 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide bowl. Weighs 9.8g, 6.3dwt. Marked: T&S (Towle Son hallmark), STERLING Very nice condition, with some slight surface scratches and light tarnish. Will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
