About the Item
Coffee, tea, sugar, and cream set featuring gilded interior with ivory fitting, ornate foliate design including an eagle on the lid and an additional Harlequin patterned design. Engraved with "Omnia Vincit Veritas".
James Charles Edington was an important English silversmith, producing silver in Victorian and Georgian style.
In 1828, James Charles Edington registered his first mark from Berwick Street in London. He moved to Leicester Square in 1837 registering first as a working silversmith, until 1862, and later as a manufacturing silversmith.
