Sterling silver tea caddy by Tiffany Co with monogram. Monogram appears to be MSC This beautiful urn style tea caddy is done in an Art Deco pattern featuring flowers and lines. Pattern number dates this piece to circa 1910. Hallmarks date this piece to manufacture under the directorship of John C. Moore II, 1907-1947. Does not include Tiffany box or pouch. Measures approx 5 1/2" high, approx 1 1/2" diameter opening, approx 3 1/4" at widest part. Weighs approx 229.0g, 147.3dwt Marked TIFFANY CO 17646A (pattern number, circa 1910) MAKERS 2987 STERLING SILVER 925 1000 M (director's letter for John C. Moore II, 1907-1947). Very nice condition with some light surface scratching and slight tarnish. There are some significant dents, and the opening is bent (see photos) Will be packaged securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL031124/17KCS
