The dinner and dessert/entremet knives have stainless steel blades. Created in 1781 under King Louis XVI, this set is affirmed by a laurel wreath curly pellets falling, stapled to the shell. This model is called "Louveciennes" in catalogue Odiot. Louveciennes is near Paris, and was the chateau of Madame du Barry, a favourite of Louis XV. The set consists of twelve place settings, seven pieces each including : Dinner knives, Dinner spoons, Dinner forks, Dessert/Entremet knives, Dessert/Entremet spoons, Dessert/Entremet forks and tea/coffee spoons. No monograms. This flatware is presented in a fitted wood storage chest which has its original key and which features free slots to include serving pieces (carving set 2 pc, bone holder, soup ladle, salad serving set 2 pc...)
