Antique Peter Hertz Denmark Silver with Gold Wash Bright Cut Pie Server
Crafted in sterling silver by renowned Danish silversmith, Peter Hertz. This gold washed pie server features an etched bright cut design on blade. Hallmark indicated manufacture in 1889.
Weighs approx 135.7g, 87.3dwt
Measures approx 11 1/2" long, 3" wide bowl
Marked 3 towers 99 (indicates manufacture in 1885 with a minimum 826 silver purity) P. Hertz SG (mark for assayer Simon Groth, 1863-1904)
Very nice condition, with some slight surface scratches and very light tarnish.
Will be packaged in a gift bag or pouch (when possible) and shipped US Priority Mail Insured.
