About the Item

A fine antique child's mug. By Tiffany Co. In sterling silver. With acid etched decoration and cartouches with a squirrel on one side and a bird (possibly a kingfisher) to the reverse. Fully hallmarked to the base. Simply a wonderful Tiffany mug! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is a small dent to the foot rim and a monogram removal to the central cartouche. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Engraved: With a June 9, 1931 date to the base. Maker: Tiffany Co. Pattern Name: Squirrel Bird Marks: Tiffany Co. Makers /20960 A 6797/ Sterling Silver 925 to 1000 and with M for the directorship of John C.
