About the Item
Vintage sterling silver lobster forks in the Champagne pattern by Orla Mogensen of Denmark, circa 1940s.
The Champagne pattern was designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard in 1947, it is is a mid-century design featuring what looks like small champagne bubbles rising up the handle. These lobster forks/picks feature 2 small tines on one end and a scoop on the other end.
Measures approx 7 7/8" long, 5/8" wide at widest point.
Weighs approx 69.7g, 44.9dwt.
Marked STERLING DENMARK O. MOOGENSEN
Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. One fork is slightly bent (see photo).
Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
