About the Item
A fine antique Renaissance Revival German silver tray or charger.
In .800 silver.
Decorated with a repoussé battle scene. Soldiers are depicted battling one another within the walls of a Renaissance era city, with two regal looking women being escorted out of a building by soldiers and forced to watch the death of their King.
Marked with a faux Augsburg Grapes hallmark
13 for 13 Loth silver fineness (13/16 parts).
The bottom of the tray appears to be lacquered.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are a few spots of persistent tarnish here
there. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. The bottom of the tray is lacquered with tarnish underneath.
