AD Lang et Padoux: A Rare 18ct Yellow Gold Full Hunter Independant Second Minute Repeater Keyless Lever Pocket Watch C1880.
Dial: A white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track with Arabic five minute interval numerals, signed AD Lang et Padoux Geneve. The original blued steel Fleur di Lis hands with matching blued steel independent seconds hand.
Case: The heavy 18ct yellow gold full hunter case with a French coat of arms signed La Trosne et L'Autel meaning The Throne and the Altar. The back of the case has a beautiful entwined monograme. The inner cover is an exhibition back exposing the movement. The cases are all numbered. The repeater slide is located on the side of the case, with a hand set lever and the independant seconds lever on the side of the case aswell.
Movement: The superb quality nickel finished movement signed A Lang
Padoux Geneve fully jewelled through out the movement with compensation balance, Breguet overcoil hairspring slow fast regulation and two barrels, one for the movement and one for the independant seconds.The hammers are visible and they chime the hours quarters and minutes clearly.
This pocket watch is important and rare because it is not easy to find this combination of Independent seconds and minute repeating functions in a watch of this age. This watch would make an excellent addition to one's collection.

Baume. A Swiss 18ct yellow gold, full hunter keyless lever minute repeater pocket watch, C1890s.
Dial: A perfect white enamel Roman numeral dial with outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel spade hands and blued steel seconds hand.
Case: The heavy Swiss hallmarked 18ct yellow Gold case with monogram to front cover and dated 23rd April 1900. The back cover is plain as is the inner cuvette. All cases are numbered and hallmarked. The push button to make the watch chime is to the side of the case.
Movement: The beautifully signed movement by Baume, which is fully jewelled has compensated balance and tourbillion style bridge which is a very unusual layout for a minute repeater. The highly polished fly wheel which is visible on the top plate together with the polished hammers to the side.

An Historic and Rare Rose Gold Enamelled Keyless Pivoted Detente Cronometre Half Hunter Pocket Watch C1880.
Dial: The excellent white enamel dial with Roman Numerals, outer minute track with Arabic numbers at five minute intervals, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock and gold original spade hands with a blued steel seconds hand.
Case: The heavy 18ct rose gold half hunter case with inlaid blue enamel Roman numerals to the front of the case. The rear of the case is beautifully enamelled with the Coat of Arms of General Friedrich Wilhem von Steuben. The inner case is engraved Chronometre a l' Esperance, 33 Bould st Martin Paris. The cases are all numbered and marked18Kt Gold.
Movement: The superb nickel finished, highly jewelled movement with keyless pivoted detente chronometre escapement Breguet overcoil hairspring and fast slow regulation.
The Coat of Arms belong to General Von Steuben (1730-1794) He fought alongside General George Washington to help him defeat the British and gain Independence from Britain on the 4th July 1776. This is a rare and important watch to carry this Crest. An extract from the Royal College of Arms...
