On offer is this gorgeous 15CT SOLID GOLD CHERRY AMBER CIGAR / CHEROOT HOLDER DETAILS Material: 15ct (625/000) Solid Rose Gold collar and resin designed to look like cherry amber Style: Lovely cigar holder, really stylish and classy Age: Antique Late Victorian (c1890s) Condition: Excellent for age, in original box, though clearly has been used Hallmark: Exempt, fully tested / guaranteed (see below) Origin: UK DIMENSIONS Length: 66.6mm Diameter: 12.2 mm Inner diameter (for cigar): 8mm approx Other Info: Very striking, well made. The piece originates from the UK. A stunning and highly collectable piece of historical tobacciana. Important info about ancient jewellery: Many pieces such as this were made long before the Hallmarking Act came into force and though we have been hallmarking items in the UK since the 1300s this was not the norm until recently. Many items were handmade by the "family jeweler" and never went off to be assayed. Anything made pre 1920 does not need to be hallmarked by law.
