About the Item
This exquisite Antique 14k four color gold hunter case pocket watch made by the Elgin Company around 1908 (based on movement serial # 13333340) features an elaborately decorated 14 carat yellow, rose, green and white gold full hunter case, foliate decorated case lid with central flush set diamond accent, foliate decorated case backwash central blank cartouche, scalloped edge body, glass crystal, white porcelain dial, Arabic numeral hours chapter, sub seconds dial located at the 6 o clock position, blue steel spade hands and a fine American made size 6 grade seaside model 2 grade 286, 7 jewel mechanical movement. The watch is fitted with an 18k rose gold chain with an s link design. The chain can be detached to be worn with other pieces as well making it a wonderful versatile addition to the watch. The length of the chain excluding the watch is 38 inches. Excellent vintage condition.
