About the Item
An exquisite antique Swiss guilloché enamel pendant/ fob watch with a ribbon brooch is dating to the late 19th century. The watch is made in a solid silver case (0.935 standard), beautifully decorated with deep red guilloché enamel over an engraved engine-turned ground with a sunburst motif. The reverse is equally finely finished enhanced by delicate gold foliate ornamentation beneath the translucent orange red enamel. The watch is fully hallmarked inside, additional stamp on the back of the ribbon. The watch is fitted with elegant hands, each delicate set with diamond accents, adding a subtle decorative sparkle to the dial.
The watch is fitted with an elegant enamelled bow-shaped brooch, allowing it to be worn on a ribbon, chain, or chatelaine.
Inside, the watch retains its Swiss lever hand-wound movement, with gilt plates and blued screws, visible when opened. The movement is in working order, with pin-set hands and hand-wind mechanism.
Dimensions: 30mm x 38mm
Condition: There are some very small chips on the front of the fob and a chip near the middle of the brooch. The enamel on the reverse is in an excellent condition. The watch is in full working order with pin set hands and a hand wind movement.

Exquisite Antique Swiss green guilloche enamel and silver locket. We believe the piece was a ladies pocket watch previously and converted to a locket later. This enamelled locket was made in Switzerland and it's decorated with a hand painted romantic scene of a pair of a man leaning against the bricked wall towards a last in a dress. The scene is finished with a beautiful scrolled gold frame. This piece is also decorated with delicate seed pearls on the edges from each side (front and back).
