Mon B.Hass Jeune. A Rare Massive 18ct Rose Gold Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater Split Second Keyless Lever Full Hunter Pocket Watch C1895. Dial: The superb white enamel dial with Roman numeral, outer early tachymeter scale with subsidiary dials for the day, date, month, moon phase and chronograph minute register in red on the outside of the months dial. The original Louis XVI style hands with all the other sub dial hands, seconds hand and the split seconds chronograph hands being all original. Case: The Massive (213grm) 18ct rose gold hunter case with plain front and back covers. The inner cover is signed Mon B Haas Jeune, Exposition De Moscou 1891. Chronometre, Geneve- Paris. The repeater slide is at the side of the case and the split seconds buttons are on the oppersite side of the case. The cases are all fully Swiss Hallmarked, numbered and stamped with the case maker's mark Movement: The super complicated observatory quality movement having eight complications Minute repeating, split seconds Chronograph, 30 minute register, Day, Date, Months, moon phases and lunar calendar. The nickel finished fully jewelled movement with compensation balance Breguet balance spring and micrometer regulation. This movement is truly a magnificent piece of Swiss Horological craftmanship at it's finest Benjamin Hass was an amazing Swiss watchmaker who produced very few complicated pocket watches like this. The company won many horological prizes for their excellence in producing pocket watches as fine as this one. This magnificent pocket watch comes with a presentation folder. It would be a fantastic horological legacy to own and look after for the next generation.
