About the Item

Lovely and chic pocket watch to the effigy of HRH Duke of Wellington, the date is around 1930. The watch has a very nice "Guillochet" (engraved border) around the dial, the graphism is iconic of the Art Deco period. The caliber of the watch is in a good shape, we can see a Breguet spiral and adjust Avance / Retard. The pocket silver chain with French hallmarks is also with a typical Art Deco design and has a good length 15.5 inch. All original including the box from Dessouter from London. The watch works and on a day test, it might need a service to wear it every day.
