This great looking and all original pocket watch was produced by the legendary house of J.W. Benson. They were the jewelers to the royal family and everything they produced was made of the finest materials and craftsmanship.
The cover is engraved and filled with enamel and fired in a furnace. The original dial is in flawless condition without any chips or hairlines and was also fired in a furnace. The movement is high grade and produced in Switzerland for Benson and the case is hallmarked with English stamps. The watch still keeps dependable time. True to the times these watches were fitted with gold crowns and this one is the original one.
This watch is supplied with a pocket watch chain as well.

Baume. A Swiss 18ct yellow gold, full hunter keyless lever minute repeater pocket watch, C1890s.
Dial: A perfect white enamel Roman numeral dial with outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel spade hands and blued steel seconds hand.
Case: The heavy Swiss hallmarked 18ct yellow Gold case with monogram to front cover and dated 23rd April 1900. The back cover is plain as is the inner cuvette. All cases are numbered and hallmarked. The push button to make the watch chime is to the side of the case.
Movement: The beautifully signed movement by Baume, which is fully jewelled has compensated balance and tourbillion style bridge which is a very unusual layout for a minute repeater. The highly polished fly wheel which is visible on the top plate together with the polished hammers to the side.
