What an amazing, nearly new watch this is, it is nearly 200 years old but looks like it was made yesterday. We seldom see watches this old, in this condition. It is easy to see how sharp the case back is in the photo's. The case is done in classic Breguet Engine Turning and it shows almost no wear on it. The rims are heavy carved gold. The solid gold dial is also done in Breguet Engine turning as well, and with a hand engraved center. The Roman Numerals are done in Solid Gold and flawlessly fused to the dial. The hands, done in blued steel are also original as well.
The movement is Swiss Made but done, also in the Breguet Style with gilded plates and a lever escapement. This watch comes with a key for easy winding.
And, believe it or not you can wear this watch, and count on it as well to get you there on time. There is a great joy and excitement in navigating your day with a device that is this old.
This is a "vault find" watch, it has been locked up for nearly 50 years, which means it needs a service. We will give it a factory quality service by our finest watchmaker as part of the purchase price before it is shipped out to you. This will delay shipping for a few days of course.
