About the Item
A Rare Gold Blue Enamel and Diamond Open Face Keywind Fob Watch C1860
Dial: The elegant Champagne dial with Roman numerals outer dot minute track with the the centre of the dial exquisitely engraved with flowers and garlands. The original blued steel spade hands complimenting the dial beautifully. The dial is covered by a mineral glass.
Case: The 18ct gold case finely engraved to sides and bow. The back of the case has a garland of flowers encrusted with rose cut diamonds and a rose cut diamond surround set in a beautiful translucent blue enamel, which is in perfect condition. The inner case is plain with holes for the key to wind the watch up and to set the hands. The cases are all numbered.
Movement: The four bridge gilt metal jewelled movement with cylinder escapement and slow fast regulation to the cock. The Swiss movement is unsigned.
This beautiful Lady's fob watch is a excellent example of Swiss craftsmanship at it's finest. It is rare to fine watches like this in such pristine condition with the enamel still intact. This watch would make a fine addition to ones collection.

Dial: The excellent white enamel dial with Roman Numerals, outer minute track with Arabic numbers at five minute intervals, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock and gold original spade hands with a blued steel seconds hand.
Case: The heavy 18ct rose gold half hunter case with inlaid blue enamel Roman numerals to the front of the case. The rear of the case is beautifully enamelled with the Coat of Arms of General Friedrich Wilhem von Steuben. The inner case is engraved Chronometre a l' Esperance, 33 Bould st Martin Paris. The cases are all numbered and marked18Kt Gold.
Movement: The superb nickel finished, highly jewelled movement with keyless pivoted detente chronometre escapement Breguet overcoil hairspring and fast slow regulation.
