A. Huguenin & Sons. An 18ct Yellow Gold Full Hunter Keyless Lever Calendar Quarter Repeater Pocket Watch C1890 Dial: The magnificent original silver dial, signed A. Huguenin & Sons Locle with raised three coloured foliage to the dial with Roman numerals outer silver dot minute track. with aperture for the month at twelve o'clock, subsidiary dials for the day at nine o'clock the date at three o'clock and the moon phase with the subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The hands are all original in blued steel Case: The beautifully engraved heavy 18ct yellow gold case with the front cover covered with a garland of flowers, foliage and a vacant cartouche. The back cover is again richly engraved with garlands of flowers and foliage with the oval cartouche engraved with a bird sitting on a nest with eggs. The inner gold cover is engraved Cronometro, the serial number and A. Huguenin & Sons Locle with an engine turned surround. The repeater slide is on the side of the case. The cases are all Swiss Hallmarked and numbered. Movement: The wonderful nickel finished fully signed keyless lever movement, highly jewelled to the centre abor, with compensation balance blued steel hairspring, fast slow regulation and wolfs tooth...

Dial: The excellent white enamel dial Signed Gabriel London and numbered limited series with Roman numerals outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The original blued steel spade hands and matching blued steel seconds hand. Case: The heavy 18ct yellow gold case with plain front cover and the rear cover with a beautiful entwined monogram. The single back cover opens to reveal the movement. The cases are all English hallmarked for London 1891 with the case being made by Joseph Walton from 7 Upper Charles Street Clerkenwell. Movement: This beautiful keyless lever movement with Tourbillion style bridge being free sprung with diamond endstone for the compensated balance wheel, and blued steel hair spring.
