For your consideration is this fabulously stylish Art Deco Gents 1947 BULOVA Gents Watch .Very good vintage condition throughout. The dial is the real hero of this watch and any Art Deco fan will appreciate the numerals which can't be mistaken for any other era or style, it's a true delight. Completely original no over painting or restoration. The dial itself is a very attractive salmon colour and contrasts very stylishly with the rose coloured rolled gold plate casing. In the restoration of this watch a new mainspring, and new soft high quality leather strap have been added . The case has a 14k RGP rose (rolled gold plate) top with elegant and distinctive fluted lugs. The snap-on back is stainless steel and the whole case is in very good condition for its 76 years. Ultrasonically cleaned case. Serviced, cleaned and oiled, adjusted and regulated. Keeping good time. Striking 76-year-old Art Deco vintage BULOVA ‘SENATOR’ wrist watch was made in the New York. Width: 22mm at its widest, excluding crown. Length: 34mm total length including lugs. Thickness: 8mm, including crystal. Viewable dial/crystal: 18mm x 24mm. Strap: 14mm wide at the lugs XL fitting tapering slightly to 12mm at the buckle. Wrist fitting: The watch should fit a wrist size of between 155mm and 190mm. Movement: 17-jewel BULOVA 8AE hand-winding mechanical This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. The case back is free of any engravings, shows no wear-through to the gold.
