What an exceptionally beautiful watch this is. The watch looks new and the dial is flawless as well. We were Bulova agents when this watch was first introduced and I remember selling a few of them as well. BULOVA HISTORY
Bulova, an iconic American watch brand, was founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, a Bohemian immigrant, who opened a small jewelry shop on Maiden Lane in New York City. Initially focusing on jewelry and pocket watches, Bulova quickly expanded its horizons, establishing a factory in Bienne, Switzerland, in 1912 for the mass production of watch components. This move allowed for standardized parts and assembly, a pioneering concept in watchmaking. Throughout the 20th century, Bulova became synonymous with innovation, introducing the first full lines of men's and ladies' wristwatches, airing the first radio and television commercials, and creating the revolutionary Accutron watch in 1960, which utilized a tuning fork for unprecedented accuracy. Bulova's commitment to precision even extended to space, with its timekeeping technology used in numerous NASA missions.
