Vintage late 1960s couture ladies watch by Bulova for Christian Dior. Features a solid 14K yellow gold case and crown complemented by a minimalist white dial with gold hand and index accents. This timeless and elegant design by Dior has become highly-desirable, as it was heavily advertised in Vogue magazines during 1969 and the early 1970s. Perfect for collectors of vintage couture and high fashion pieces. Powered by a Bulova 17 jewel Swiss manual movement, this watch winds, sets and runs smoothly and remains fully-functional and ready to wear. The minimalist white dial has a subtle vertical brushed texture which contrasts well against the horizontal brushed gold of the bezel. Dial includes Bulova and Dior signatures below 12 o'clock and above 6 o'clock respectively. Paired with a beautiful Argentinian black alligator leather strap, which nicely accents the gold details found throughout the timepiece. Overall it is in very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use. No chips, dents or deep scratches to be found on the gold case or crystal. Although there are light marks on the dial, they are completely concealed by the bezel. The buckle is composed of gold-tone base metal, and the band contains very minor wear. Full 14K gold and Bulova hallmarks on the rear of the case. Gold purity was confirmed and guaranteed through X-Ray testing. A beautiful coupling of Dior couture design with Swiss quality and reliability. We very rarely get service history on the timepieces. Although the watch is working, we have not timed for accuracy.
