About the Item
Our limited edition A. Dunhill Ltd London / Dunhill wheel watch chronograph features a monolog stainless steel case of 42mm with engine turned bezel and chronograph pushers. The design evokes the knock on / off spinners as fitted to sports cars in the 1950s / 1960s. The hands and indices are reminiscent of a 60s sports car's instruments, the sub dials also feature the spinner design, which was a key part of the Dunhill motorities range in the early 2000s. This in turn is a heritage range reflecting Dunhill's Motorities business from the turn of the 19th century, providing accessories for the motoring enthusiast. The wheel chrono is a limited edition of just 500 pieces, and is powered by an automatic movement. Presented in excellent condition overall, with some light signs of use to the case and it is also fitted with its original leather strap which whilst used, has plenty of life left. The Dunhill D folding clasp is also in excellent condition. Neither box nor papers are present, we date production to c. 2006, when this was launched. A superb chrono for the motoring enthusiast.
