Based on a design by Louis Cartier this classic Tortoise, or Tortue shaped watch was produced by the iconic house of Elgin. They were based in Elgin Illinois and produced some of the worlds most accurate railroad timepieces. This watch keeps excellent original time and can worn all the time, it is very dependable and easy to service as well.
