Rare 14 karat gold Angelus Watch. Angelus is made in Switzerland and has a long history of making Swiss timepieces. Born in the heart of the Swiss watchmaking center, La Chaux-de-Fonds, who makes Angelus watches has more than 100 year history. Angelus has won numerous awards in the early 20th century for its outstanding mechanical craftsmanship and innovative watches. This interesting watch has a rectangle case with a satin finish and a 14 karat fluted diamond that is oval in shape. The dial is 14 karat gold with black baton markers and black hands. The watch is a 17 jewel movement that is analog and you should wind it daily. This circa 1970 watch is the true testament to bold gold and textures. The braided band is in perfect condition and should be worn by any solid gold or watch enthusiast! There was only one original owner of this watch and they kept it in their jewelry box so it shows no wear at all! This gold Angelus has so much character and is in fantastic condition! The oval dial in the square face gives this watch a unique vintage look. The band measures 17 millimeters wide and has an easy to use fold-over clasp and the detail of the gold weaving is impeccable. 14 karat yellow gold 7.5 inch strap with a fold-over clasp. The complete watch and bracelet weigh 54.5 grams. If you have a smaller wrist the band can be shortened by your local jeweler or it is also very fashionable to wear it like a bangle bracelet. Either way it will be an awesome addition to your jewelry wardrobe!
