This is one of the earliest Trench Style watches we have ever seen. The Ryrie Brothers store in Toronto Canada dates to 1879 and there is a lot of history behind the renowned house. Eventually they "merged" or were absorbed by Canada's, "Cartier,: which was the house of Henry Birks and Sons. Birks is still around today.
We have just given this watch a factory quality service by our finest watchmaker and it runs well. The Kiln fired enamel dial is in flawless condition and the Blued Steel Hands are original as well.
This is a great piece of history in such a condition that it can be worn all the time and counted as well to get you there on time. We have never seen this watch by this old legendary company and if you are from Canada, this might be something exciting to own and to wear.
