This is a rare watch by the legendary house of International or I.W.C. watch company. We have never seen this unique watch before. The case is done in Sterling Silver and we date it to around 1915 based on its style. The design is called a "half hunter" because it allows you to glance at the time first. What is unique about this watch is that the cover snaps open, it does not have a button set into the crown as other examples of this watch have. The setting is done by pushing in the pin at 3:30. And also uniquely, the dial is engine turned and done in Sterling Silver as well.
Peerless was a private label house using movements by several Swiss Ebauch makers. Some of the Peerless movements, such as this one were made for then by I.W.C.
We have never seen another example of this watch, that means you will not either. You can wear this watch for casual events and count on it to get you there on time, every time.
