About the Item
UTI - Secret watch in gold, diamonds and rubies
UTI - Secret watch in 18k gold (750°/°°), platinum diamonds and rubies. The main section, reminiscent of the typical tank motifs of the 1940s, is set with two lines of seven excellent quality diamonds in slight gradation totaling approximately half a carat. It is enhanced with five square-cut rubies. This section can be lifted to reveal a golden dial with geometric indices typical of the period. Manual winding mechanical movement signed UTI. The crown is delicately concealed at the case back level. The clasp is set with two brilliant-cut diamonds of fine quality weighing approximately 0.25 and 0.30 carats. The bracelet is formed by three rectangular tubogas chains of excellent quality and in perfect condition.
French work from the 1940s. Eagle head hallmark and UTI maker's mark.
This jewel of exceptional manufacturing quality is reminiscent of the Cadenas watch by Van Cleef
Arpels dating from the same period.
