Here's a vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 6085 automatic cream dial retailed by Brock
Co from 1953. Measurements include a 34mm case size and 19mm lug width. On a Rolex brown lizard leather strap and matching gold Rolex buckle. It is the example that was presented to Major Harold Collins by James H. "Dutch" Kindelberger, the CEO of North American Aviation, upon Collins’ setting of then new world speed record of 707.889 mph in an F86D Sabre Jet, which was manufactured by North American Aviation. Featuring an engraved case commemorating the record along with additional provenance and a gorgeously tropicalized co-signed dial bearing the signature of L.A.-based retailer Brock
Co., this example showcases the very best that the world of vintage horology has to offer with its rich provenance and heritage. It comes with its memorabilia from Harold Collin such as his hat, mug, pins, photographs, and even his jacket! All parts including the crown, dial, movement, and caseback are original.
