About the Item
Our vintage Zenith Autosports 28000 date features a 36mm stainless steel case (exc crown) and is fitted to a generic quality leather strap, powered by a cal 2562 automatic movement. Presented in excellent condition with light signs of use, this example was a presentation watch , on the back is inscribed "BNFL for 25 years service to nuclear energy." BNFL was British Nuclear Fuels Limited, responsible for major nuclear plants. We date production to c.1970. Neither box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch will be included at point of sale. This is a relatively rare Zenith with an interesting back story.
