Manifestation II
By Virginia Fleck
Located in Boston, MA
Artist Commentary:
This kinetic artwork is intended as a gently rotating, dimensional mandala. It has a baroque-upcycled aesthetic that playfully transcends the utility of the can-tab. Sparkling moiré patterns emerge as the artwork rotates slowly. One can experience the artwork as a sparkling, crystalline mystery from a distance, then as a familiar but incalculable marvel up close. Fun fact: it is powered by a disco ball motor
Keywords: kinetic art, sensory art, suspended art, upcycled, sparkling , metal
Details: A kinetic, sensory sculpture made from post-consumer can-tabs, safety pins, steel armature and ceiling mounted motor. 84"l x 44"w x 44"d x 40 lbs. rotates at 1 to 1-1/2 rpm

This artwork is intended as a gently rotating, dimensional mandala. It has a baroque-upcycled aesthetic that playfully transcends the utility of the can-tab. The shape recalls a chandelier or and upside-down layer cake. Sparkling moiré patterns emerge in the hanging chains as viewers circumnavigate the art. Treasure 2.7
By Virginia Fleck
Located in Boston, MA
Artist Commentary:
Aluminum can-tabs chained together with safety pins are layered, massed and attached to an MDF backing creating a dense sparkling texture. The can-tabs are reflective, glinting in the light, catching the eye of those who pass by them. These shield-like, glittering wall pieces have the presence of valuable treasure, but closer inspection reveals that the treasure is made from can-tabs, one of many common disposable items that continuously pass through our hands.

Enchanted Composition- Leather and Stone Sculpture, Burri and Fontana Inspired
By Angelo Canevari
Located in New York, NY
Angelo Canevari's "Mirabile Composto" is a 106.3 x 106.3-inch leather and stone abstract sculpture composed of 12 elements. This piece is part of a limited number of works where Canevari engaged in a different medium than bronze. The title "Mirabile Composto" comes from a 17th-century quote describing the work of the famous Baroque Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It refers to Bernini's fusion of architecture, sculpture, and painting. In this work, Canevari skillfully plays with different shades of leather and a river pebble to blur the distinction between painting, sculpture, or architectural pieces. The piece projects a magnetic presence. It reminds the immensity and peacefulness of the golden sand mounds in the Sahara desert when viewed from an aerial view.
Angelo Canevari is an Italian sculptor from a long lineage of artists active in Rome since the 17th century. He has been commissioned several works by the Vatican, including the Bronze Doors of the Cathedral of Belluno and the Vatican Coins.

Large Panel of 9 Original Modernist Relief Sculptures by Ron Hitchins
Located in London, GB
Stunning original panel made of 9 handmade fibreglass relief sculptures from the artist's own home. Each sculpture is unique, with beautiful rust and copper tones, and several are signed by the artist.
This very large, striking piece has a great Brutalist and Modernist feel. It is particularly notable as an example of Hitchin’s mastery of finishing techniques in simulating aged metal. The relief sculptures were visible outside of Ron’s house and became a Hackney landmark. They were carefully removed by the artist's estate after Ron passed away.
Year: unknown (Ron was active from the mid 1960s to the early 2000s)
Colour: Rust and copper tones
Signature: 5 of the relief sculptures bear the artist's trademark initials “RH”
Framing: The sculptures have been carefully mounted on a cotton covered board with a walnut wood trim and a hidden subrame on the reverse for ease of hanging.
Authenticity: This piece was purchased directly from the Artist's Estate and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the sole executor of the Ron Hitchins...

Rainbow Faucet is made from sand-cast aluminum, dipped in acrylic paint. Dine often used the rainbow motif in his drawings, paintings and prints.
The title and subject of Rainbow Faucet show Jim Dine's interest in fusing imagination and everyday life. Dine chose a faucet as the focus for this piece because he spent much of his youth surrounded by tools in his grandfather's hardware store. The artist appreciates the formal and expressive potential of hardware and tools and keeps a stockpile of these in his studio for inspiration. The plumbing fixture...
