Dating between circa 1890 to 1910 and twice the standard size, this sink is a Trone model, and incorporates Victorian and Edwardian styles. This sink would make a lovely addition to a larger bathroom in a grand country home or townhouse. John Bolding John Bolding and Sons was established in 1822 by John Bolding. It began as a brass foundry merchants, but by 1871 the firm had evolved into the sanitary world. It began to develop an interest for “improvements in water closets and in valves and regulating apparatus for the same” as quoted in the London Gazette in 1871.
