"Scrooge MCDuck in Monaco" Oil Painting 47" x 39" inch by VIQA Victoria Badion is a Russian artist, born in Vyborg, Leningrad region, in April 1988. VIQA graduated from the art school in her hometown. She now lives and works in Finland, where she began her career in 2010. She has worked in one of Helsinki's largest art galleries, Art Clipper, with leading Finnish art dealer Jarmo Haapalainen. Her artistic biography includes group and solo exhibitions, as well as participation in the Art Basel Miami art fair in 2015. She has tried to reveal herself in different genres from architectural painting to portraiture. Her path has been long and thorny. However, a strong passion for painting and a crazy obsession with her craft inspired her to start experimenting. In 2022, it dramatically changed its technique in painting and chose a new modern direction, Pop Art. Learned to paint in oil and learn digital sketching. She begins to experiment in her studio with sculpture in the form of jewelry and various gold elements. Victoria calls her studio a laboratory, because of the large space that allows you to experiment with different materials. The materials and colors used for the sculptures are kept secret and she achieves her work in bright, vivid, and lush pastel colors.
