What could the design of a storage cabinet be like today? This is the question DriadeLab, Driade’s observatory on contemporary lifestyles, asked itself when it started to research into this project. The result was Ziqqurat:a cabinet made up of different boxes that can be piled up to create everchanging forms. This system, constructive in all respects, can be used to create arrangements of three different sizes depending on the space available.The project’s source of inspiration, ancient sumerian pyramids, is no random choice: it is such a strong theme that it even gave its name to the cabinet.
In 2020 Driade, the aesthetic laboratory par excellence, proposed an expansion of the Ziqqurat collection in the iconic patterns: romantic in the floral version with tassels or pop in the white and black geometric version with black handle. The collection is therefore enriched with new 'must have' pieces that are added to the three-heighted modular container and to the vertical one: small cabinet and extra small...

Bar cabinet in black lacquered wood with metal inserts and with a pair of removable stools, padded and covered in black furry leather. The bar has a raised wooden top with a rectangular metal insert in the centre. In the upper part of the front it has three compartments with flap doors, one of which has a smoked glass bottom. In the lower part it has a compartment with a flap door with a semi-round metal section handle. The T-shaped leg has two tracks where the stools can be inserted. The stools have a square seat and round section legs

Chapel Petrassi is a contemporary design and manufacturing company based in Paris and Naples founded by designers Marie-Charlotte Bassi and Diego Petroso specialized in handcrafted furniture and custom projects for residential, commercial and galleries.
The duo met in Rome, Italy while studying, in Art and Literature for Marie-Charlotte and at Academy of Fine Arts for Diego. In 2011 after their studies, the duo travel to Europe for various projects and artistic residencies, including the American Academy in Rome in 2014. These experiences and the meetings generated aroused a curiosity and a great desire to undertake and build a project together. This common desire has naturally materialized in the design and production of contemporary furniture.
Chapel Petrassi is define by its fusion of craftsmanship and art fields with the high sense to detail. Its designs are the result of a permanent mix of different visual codes drawn from contemporary languages and youth culture.
