It consists of carved and blossoming roses on one side, with a laurel branch on the other, meeting in the middle at a carved knotted ribbon with tassels. Below this wonderful work of art is the trumeau mirror. The mirror is nearly square, measuring 17” H x 18-½” W, and is framed by carved and gilt trim, worked into twisted ribbon and beaded pearl motifs.
