Created in Tunstall, this piece of stoneware is heavy and features a light blue jasperware background with an applied cream Georgian design around the sides. A textured cream ceramic rope pattern decorates the bottom around the edges. Unlike most jasperware, this bowl is glazed in clear lacquer and would be great for holding water or other liquids.
The bottom is marked in green with "Adams, Imperial Stoneware, Tunstall Est. 1657. Adams Tunstall is stamped just below.
