A good Mid-Century Modern Danish Style Teak tall dresser chest of six drawers by G Plan, from the "Fresco" range, 1966.
The dresser having six graduated drawers, the chest is made from finely grained teak and has very stylish ergonomic curved handles made from afromosia wood, this handle was specific to the Fresco range only. The chest is signed to the inside of the drawer with G Plan's eponymous red decal with a capital letter G.
Condition is excellent just like the day it was made, this very stylish MCM dresser is ready to grace your space.

A very rare antique George III English Mahogany secretary bookcase, with a fitted collector's or doctor's cabinet to the base, circa 1790.
The bookcase in two sections; the top section with a flared cornice with a frieze of dentil molding below, the bookcase with twin glazed doors with intersecting curvilenear astragals, the doors enclosing a pair of adjustable shelves.
The base having a deep drawer with a locking fall front desk, fitted with a tooled & gilded leather writing surface, and a fitted interior with pigeonholes with removable doors and drawers each fitted with an oval gilded name label. Below are a pair of locking doors enclosing an elaborately fitted interior; comprising one long shallow tray shaped drawer above a host of 13 drawers of various sizes, all with the original brass hardware and corresponding oval gilded name tag, to the left side is a file space.

To the middle is a second ebonized band of wood and a single paneled door enclosing a single shelf, the cabinet with a corresponding ebonized band to the base and is raised on stile feet.

The two part cabinet comprising a two door cabinet on stand, the top having a carved & stepped crown, below are a pair of cupboard doors the rectangular panels in relief and carved with a lozenge design to the center, these panels are repeated on the sides. The doors are flanked with a pair of carved winged cherub masks with a carved foliate panel below, a corresponding carved panel is between the doors. The rear of the doors are covered with a mustard colored fabric and can be easily removed, the doors have the original hand cut steel lock and key and the doors enclose a single shelf.
The cabinet dates circa 1650 the stand below is from the mid 19th century, circa 1850, the stand having a single drawer carved with a saints head to the center & a carved frieze with arches containing carved acanthus leaf. The base with a series of four graduated drawers with shield shaped lock-plate escutcheons inlaid with bone, to the center is a fall front writing surface enclosing a fitted interior with a series of drawers, pigeon holes and a central locking door, the doors and drawers are inlaid with satinwood stringing. All the locks are fully operational and keys are present.

The armoire is made from the most beautiful burl chestnut and various fruitwoods, to the top is a removable stepped crown, below is a raised burl panel inlaid with an ebony and fruitwood star shaped device. The cabinet has single paneled door with incredible burl chestnut panels, plenty of storage to the interior, can receive shelves or a hanging rail, the door having one long iron hinge & the original large reticulated iron lock plate with original key and lock. The door opens and closes with ease and the lock and key function perfectly. The base is fitted with a single drawer, original lock with wonderful iron handles & reticulated backplates, the lock plate elegantly decorated with two iron 'trees', the shirt having a lozenge shaped inlay with a stylized compass design, the bonnetiere is raised on tuned feet.

An exceptional French antique Napoleon III inlaid ebonized & ormolu mounted marble top secretaire chest, circa 1860.
This superb antique French secretaire abattant has a black & white veined marble top, with a reverse breakfront gilded bronze frieze below, the front of the secretaire is very finely inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl & gilt bronze 'rope twist' decoration. The chest has eight drawer fronts with gilded cast bronze garland decorated lock escutcheons, three of the drawers are dummy & form the fall front for the pull down secretary, which has the original blue velvet writing surface and engraved lock-plate. The interior is made of the finest flame grained satinwood and has two drawers with lozenge shaped inlay, the top of the chest with a pair of very finely cast gilt bronze caryatid brackets, the base with a corresponding pair of gilt bronze acanthus shaped brackets. The secretaire is raised on turned bun feet with gilt bronze mounts and a shaped skirt also with a gilt bronze mount, the sides of the chest with inlaid bronze stringing.

An original & iconic Mid-Century Modern credenza / wall unit model # C8506, designed by Paul Mc Cobb "The Irwin Collection" for Calvin Furniture, 1952. Condition is excellent!
A very rare twin section walnut brass & leather cabinet designed by Paul Mc Cobb, the top having brass dividers/supports with two moveable modular units one with four drawers the other with twin cupboard doors. This model is very rare, possibly a commission piece with leather fronts to the doors, most of the C8506 models had plain wood or doors with caning. The cabinet is also fitted with two original smoked glass shelves, the cabinet is fitted with a brass tag to one of the drawers "Calvin Grand Rapids The Irwin Collection designed by Paul Mc Cobb".
The base with corresponding brass legs to the front & rear, the cabinet with four 'concertina' doors fitted with the original Oxblood color leather and enclosing a fitted interior. Condition is very good indeed, the cabinet having been recently professionally restored in Bloomsbury's workshop. Provenance, the cabinet belonged to a prominent local architect and was acquired from new.
