Broadway Loft Expansion

When our client acquired the adjacent unit, we returned to create a cohesive 3,500 square foot residence from two separate lofts in the same 1928 building.

This expansion project involved merging two distinct spaces into one fluid home. The design included a second full kitchen remodel, additional bedroom enclosure, expanded closet systems, and complete re-furnishing that honored the original design language while evolving the narrative.

The challenge was maintaining architectural consistency across both units while creating clear spatial hierarchy. We designed custom built-ins that serve as both storage and subtle room dividers, allowing the space to feel open yet intimate.

This project demonstrates the evolution of a home as life changes—a testament to thoughtful design that can grow with its inhabitants.
