Brooklyn Heights Pied-a-Terre

The high-ceilinged, one-bedroom pied-a-terre overlooks a beautiful tree-lined street in Brooklyn Heights and the goal was to keep the interiors clean, simple and open to the light. Lewis Birks, LLC was contracted to help with a gut renovation that included the kitchen, bathroom, and re-working the apartment’s layout. In order to maximize storage, light oak millwork houses the client s collection of books and ceramics and also serves to unify the language of the apartment. The furnishings are a mix of contemporary and vintage pieces, all chosen specifically to complement our client s artwork, which he collected over his extensive travels.
