Wellesley Contemporary Revival
Built in 1933 in the Wellesley Farms neighborhood, this home has evolved with its owners, transitioning from a traditional family residence into a stylish space designed for entertaining and connection. The redesign marks a dramatic shift toward a contemporary aesthetic, defined by clean lines, a neutral palette, and art-forward moments throughout. In the lounge, a sleek white bar and playful disco ball set the tone for lively gatherings, while a Black Diamond stone fireplace and bold artwork provide striking focal points. To enhance light and openness, the conservatory was reimagined as the living room, where uncovered windows now flood the space with natural light and charcoal walls add contrast. The kitchen was simplified with a monochromatic palette and streamlined trim to emphasize height and openness, while bedrooms were refreshed with tailored upholstery and statement lighting. The result is a lighter, brighter home that balances modern style with warmth, inviting celebration and the creation of new memories.
