A full-scale renovation transformed this 1890s brownstone, balancing restored historic details with a fresh, contemporary sensibility. Original plaster crown moldings, fireplaces, and architectural features were carefully returned to their former glory, providing a rich backdrop for modern furnishings and accents. Throughout the home, traditional and contemporary styles mix seamlessly, punctuated by sculptural chandeliers in crystal, metal, and vintage Murano glass that serve as striking focal points. A soft, neutral palette of earthy tones creates cohesion, while flashes of brass, bronze, and jewel hues add depth and glamour.
