This project celebrates the architecture of an historic Altadena home. The gracious trellised veranda, located off the formal living room, epitomizes the project s emphasis on elegance, comfort, and botanical harmony.

Vintage wicker seating was restored and reupholstered in classic garden prints that echo the filtered greenery just beyond the screens. Lantern lighting, woven trays, ceramic stools, and quietly patinated accessories add warmth without disturbing the airiness of the space.

The pool terrace continues the story with scalloped loungers, striped shade, and lush plantings—a sun-washed moment that feels both nostalgic and distinctly Californian.

Interior moments within the garden wing reinforce the home’s heritage. A charming bath features hand-printed botanical wallpaper, soft green beadboard, and a restored clawfoot tub, creating a romantic early-20th-century vignette. A nearby powder room pairs a sculptural Venetian-style mirror with pale patterned walls, offering a crisp, whimsical counterpoint to the garden’s softness.

Together, these spaces reflect a commitment to preserving architectural character while layering in comfort, beauty, and a sense of quiet luxury.
