Festina F12 Steel Mens Watch - OWNED & WORN BY HARRY BELLAFONTE with COA
Certificate of Authenticity - Full Provenance with 2 COAs - 1 Year Warranty
Today’s offering showcases a special treasure from our COT Celebrity Collection: a stainless steel Festina F12 reference 8995 wristwatch personally owned and worn by the legendary Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Harry Belafonte. Far more than an entertainer, Belafonte was an artist who reshaped culture.
Harry Belafonte was one of the most celebrated entertainers of the 20th century—a trailblazing singer, actor, and activist whose artistry reshaped popular culture. Dubbed the “King of Calypso,” he introduced Caribbean music to mainstream audiences around the globe. His landmark 1956 album Calypso became the first LP in history to sell more than one million copies, fueled by the enduring popularity of Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)—a song that remains especially recognizable to this day. His warm, charismatic stage presence and magnetic voice made him a household name, while his work in film, including Carmen Jones and Island in the Sun, broke new ground for Black actors in Hollywood.
Belafonte’s career was recognized with some of the industry’s highest honors. He won a Grammy Award for Calypso, later receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His performances earned him Emmy and Tony Awards as well, making him one of the rare “EGOT” recipients. In 1989, he was awarded the Kennedy Center Honors, and in 2014 he received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his profound influence on both culture and conscience.
Equally celebrated for his activism, Belafonte was a close confidant of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and a tireless champion for civil rights, social justice, and humanitarian causes. He helped organize the 1963 March on Washington, supported the anti-apartheid movement, and worked with UNICEF as a goodwill ambassador. His fearless voice against injustice and his lifelong commitment to equality cemented his legacy not only as an entertainer but as a moral leader of his era. To own a watch worn by Belafonte is to hold a personal connection to a man whose artistry brought joy to millions and whose convictions helped change the world.
This watch:
The Festina F12 offers a balance of practicality and style. Its curved rectangular stainless steel case wears comfortably on the wrist. Its silver dial is crisp and functional, with luminous dauphine hands, applied Arabic numerals, baton hour markers, and dual registers for day and date, giving it both clarity and sophistication. With its signed crown, durable 5 ATM water resistance, and dependable quartz movement, the F12 is built for reliable everyday wear, yet its streamlined tank-style design ensures it pairs effortlessly with both casual and formal attire. It’s a versatile timepiece that blends contemporary durability with timeless appeal.
It remains in overall good condition. We have not cleaned or polished the watch or done anything to the outside of it - we left it just as we acquired it, which includes signs of wear.
On the inside, one of our Master Watchmakers has installed a new battery making it ready for enjoyment.

1970's Enicar Ladies Vintage Gold Plated Watch - OWNED & WORN BY OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN
Certificate of Authenticity - Full Provenance with 2 COAs
Today's offering showcases this classic vintage ladies Enicar watch owned and worn by the late Dame Olivia Newton-John.
Oliva Newton-John is best known as leading lady Sandy who starred alongside Hollywood legend John Travolta in Grease, one of the most popular movies of all time.
Its enormous popularity has endured through the years - when it was re-released for its 20th anniversary in 1998 it ranked as the second highest-grossing film behind Titanic in its opening weekend. Its soundtrack is also one of the most successful in history, with the single "You're the One That I Want", with John Travolta, one of the best selling singles of all time.
Besides achieving legendary status as an actress, she is an amazingly accomplished singer. She is a four-time Grammy award winner who has amassed five number-one and ten other top ten Billboard Hot 100 singles, and two number-one Billboard 200 solo albums. Her four Grammy awards include winning for Best Country Female, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Performance Female.
She has also won a People's Choice Award for Favorite Film Actress, and was nominated for a Golden Globe as Best Actress in a Musical and won an Academy of Country Music award for Most Promising Female Vocalist.
Eleven of her singles (including two platinum) and fourteen of her albums (including two platinum and four double platinum) have been certified gold by the RIAA. She has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.
She became just the second woman to have two singles - "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "Summer Nights" - in the Billboard top 5 simultaneously.
Besides her incredible success as an actress and a singer, she has long been an advocate for many humanitarian causes and recently raised $2.4 million dollars for cancer research.
This classic retro ladies Enicar watch has a fine Swiss made movement and a timeless style with its 18K gold-plated case with stainless steel back, silver dial, and vintage bracelet.
It was clearly worn and enjoyed by Olivia Newton-John through it remains in over good condition. We have not cleaned or polished the watch or done anything to the outside of it - we left it just as we acquired it. Its crystal is quite scratched from significant use. If you'd like us to install a new one please inquire.
The only work we have done on the watch is one of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled the movement inside down to the last screw and fully serviced it making it ready for immediate enjoyment and for use for many years to come ($595 value). It is running extremely strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new high-grade Swiss watch.

Ladies Swiss Sterling Silver Watch With Bracelet - OWNED

Ladies Swiss Sterling Silver Watch With Link Bracelet - OWNED & WORN BY DORIS DAY
Certificate of Authenticity - Full Provenance with 2 COAs - 1 Year Warranty
Today's offering showcases this stylish ladies Swiss made chrona sterling silver watch with original sterling silver link bracelet owned and worn by the late beloved entertainer Doris Day.
Doris Day was the quintessential American sweetheart—an icon of silver screen charm, vocal brilliance, and effortless elegance. Rising to fame in the post-war era, she captivated audiences with her radiant smile, warm presence, and unmistakable voice, becoming one of the most beloved entertainers of the 20th century.
Her film career included a string of box-office hits like Calamity Jane, Pillow Talk, and The Man Who Knew Too Much, showcasing her versatility as both a comedic talent and a dramatic actress. She was nominated for an Academy Award and received the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, not to mention her numerous other accolades across both film and music.
As a singer, Doris Day's legacy is equally enduring. Her velvety vocals made hits like "Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)" and "Sentimental Journey" timeless classics. She recorded more than 650 songs across her career, making her one of the most prolific and best-selling female vocalists of her generation.
But beyond the screen and stage, Doris Day was known for her impeccable taste and style - always polished, always graceful. Her love for clean lines, pastel hues, and feminine silhouettes made her a quiet but powerful fashion influence in the golden age of Hollywood. She carried herself with a natural glamour that was never forced, always authentic.
A devoted animal rights advocate, she dedicated the latter part of her life to causes she cared deeply about, founding the Doris Day Animal Foundation and lobbying tirelessly for animal welfare. Her compassion off-camera was as genuine and impactful as her on-screen presence.
Owning a piece from Doris Day's personal collection - especially a timepiece that she wore - offers more than vintage sophistication. It carries the weight of her extraordinary legacy: a woman of talent, tenderness, and timeless style.
It is in its original condition which present as excellent. The bezel is thick and rounded like a polished pebble, almost more like a bangle than a traditional case. It feels more like wearable art, which aligns well with fashion-forward 1970s and 1980s trends.
Its primary function may be aesthetic as much as practical. It doubles as a silver bracelet, likely worn to complement outfits and provide a subtle signature piece - especially for someone like Doris Day, whose style was approachable, classic, and quietly luxurious.
The dial is modernist - no hour markers, no date window, no second hand; just a brushed silver face with two slender hands. This minimalism lends the watch a timeless elegance.
It was clearly worn and enjoyed by Doris Day through it remains in good condition. We have not cleaned or polished the watch or done anything to the outside of it - we left it just as we acquired it. The only work we have done on the watch is one of our Master Watchmakers, who as an authorized Rolex Watchmaker, has installed a new battery making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Rebecca at the Well
Located in New York, NY
Provenance:
Dr. James Henry Lancashire, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, by 1925; probably by descent to:
Private Collection, Cumberland Foreside, Maine, until 2018
This unpublished panel is a characteristic work of the Master of the Apollo and Daphne Legend, an anonymous Florentine painter in the circle of Bartolommeo di Giovanni, Domenico Ghirlandaio, and Sandro Botticelli. The artistic personality of the Master of the Apollo and Daphne Legend was independently recognized by Everett Fahy and Federico Zeri at roughly the same moment in time. Fahy originally dubbed this artist the Master of the Ryerson Panels but later adopted Zeri’s name for the artist, which derives from his eponymous works from the Samuel H. Kress collection (Figs. 1-2). Fahy posited that the artist was most likely a pupil of Ghirlandaio active from roughly 1480 to 1510, and that he may be identifiable with one of Ghirlandaio’s documented pupils to whom no works have been securely attributed, such as Niccolò Cieco, Jacopo dell’Indaco, or Baldino Baldinetti. The present painting was first attributed to this master by Everett Fahy in 1989, who became aware of its existence only after publishing his definitive studies on the artist.
The surviving body of work by the Master of the Apollo and Daphne Legend is largely composed of series of panels treating the same theme. In addition to the works illustrating the legend of Apollo and Daphne, there are also series on the themes of Susanna and the Elders and the story of Saint Joseph, among others. The subject of the present panel is drawn from Genesis 24, the story of Isaac. It is possible that our painting relates to another work by the artist depicting the Sacrifice of Isaac formerly in the collection of E. A. McGuire in Dublin, Ireland (Fig. 3), and that these two panels were originally part of a decorative scheme based on the story of Isaac.
Although the Master’s paintings of this type have traditionally been considered painted fronts of wedding chests, known as cassoni, the scale of these paintings and the fact that they are often part of a series indicates that they are more likely spalliera panels—paintings set into furniture or the wainscoting of a room. The biblical episode depicted in this painting centers on the theme of marriage, which suggests that this work was likely commissioned for the domestic interior of a newly married couple. The Master has transcribed into paint even the minute details of this Old Testament story, in which Abraham sends a servant to travel by camel to the land of his father and seek out a wife for his son Isaac. The servant is here shown at the well...

Chris Ware New Yorker Cartoonist Limited Edition Thanksgiving Print NYC
By Chris Ware
Located in Surfside, FL
This is one print – printed in full color on 15" x 20" heavy cream-colored paper.
It is from a limited edition series of 175,
the portfolio is hand numbered and hand signed by Chris Ware. the individual prints are not.
The page with the hand signature is included here as a photo for reference only it is not included in this sale.
Franklin Christenson "Chris" Ware (born December 28, 1967), is an American cartoonist known for his Acme Novelty Library series (begun 1994) and the graphic novel Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth (2000) and Building Stories (2012). His works explore themes of social isolation, emotional torment and depression. He tends to use a vivid color palette and realistic, meticulous detail. His lettering and images are often elaborate and sometimes evoke the ragtime era or another early 20th-century American design style.
Ware often refers to himself in the publicity for his work in self-effacing, even withering tones. He is considered by some critics and fellow notable illustrators and writers, such as Dave Eggers, to be among the best currently working in the medium; Canadian graphic-novelist Seth has said, "Chris really changed the playing field. After him, a lot of [cartoonists] really started to scramble and go, 'Holy [expletive], I think I have to try harder.'"
While still a sophomore at UT, Ware came to the attention of Art Spiegelman, who invited Ware to contribute to Raw, the influential anthology magazine Spiegelman was co-editing with Françoise Mouly. Ware has acknowledged that being included in Raw gave him confidence and inspired him to explore printing techniques and self-publishing. His Fantagraphics series Acme Novelty Library defied comics publishing conventions with every issue.
Ware's art reflects early 20th-century American styles of cartooning and graphic design, shifting through formats from traditional comic panels to faux advertisements and cut-out toys. Stylistic influences include advertising graphics from that same era; newspaper strip cartoonists Winsor McCay (Little Nemo in Slumberland) and Frank King (Gasoline Alley); Charles Schulz's post-WWII strip Peanuts and the cover designs of ragtime-era sheet music. Ware has spoken about finding inspiration in the work of artist Joseph Cornell and cites Richard McGuire's strip Here as a major influence on his use of non-linear narratives. He is one of the great practitioners who have elevated the graphic novel style along with, Shepard Fairey, Ben Katchor and Robert Crumb.
Quimby the Mouse was an early character for Ware and something of a breakthrough. Rendered in the style of an early animation character like Felix the Cat, Quimby the Mouse is perhaps Ware's most autobiographical character.
Ware's Building Stories was serialized in a host of different venues. It first appeared as a monthly strip in Nest Magazine. Installments later appeared in a number of publications, including The New Yorker, Kramer's Ergot, and most notably, the Sunday New York Times Magazine. Building Stories appeared weekly in the New York Times Magazine from September 18, 2005 until April 16, 2006. A full chapter was published in Acme Novelty Library, number 18. Another installment was published under the title "Touch Sensitive" as a digital app released through McSweeneys. The entire narrative was published as a boxed set of books by Pantheon in October 2012.
Ware was commissioned by Chip Kidd to design the inner machinations of the bird on the cover of Haruki Murakami's novel The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.
In 2011, Ware created the poster for the U.S. release of the 2010 Palme d'Or winning film Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives by Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
Awards and honors
Over the years his work garnered several awards, including the 1999 National Cartoonists Society's Award for Best Comic Book for Acme Novelty Library and Award for Graphic Novel for Building Stories.
Ware has won numerous Eisner Awards and multiple Harvey Awards. In 2002, Ware became the first comics artist to be invited to exhibit at Whitney Museum of American Art biennial exhibition. With Will Eisner, Jack Kirby, Harvey Kurtzman, Robert Crumb and Gary Panter, Ware was among the artists honored in the exhibition "Masters of American Comics" at the Jewish Museum in New York City, New York, from September 16, 2006 to January 28, 2007. His work was the subject of solo exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago in 2006 and at the University of Nebraska's Sheldon Museum of Art, in 2007.
Many famous artists have done covers for the New Yorker Magazine including, Saul Steinberg, Maira Kalman, Art Spiegelman, Francoise Mouly, Charles Addams, Peter Arno, Roz Chast, Ed Koren...
