Pearl Tassel Earrings
Located in Kailua Kona, HI
1950's Authentic Vintage signed Weiss Yellow Rhinestone Earrings with Silver-toned base metal are altered into Sterling Silver posts with fanned backings. Earrings are then adorned by mis-matched Tahitian Black & Australian White Pearls (approximately 10mm in size each) for a whimsical variation. A cascade of faceted Moonstone beaded Tassels hang from pearls by Sterling Silver wire, Silver plated cap, & silk. Earrings are approximately 3 inches or 7.62 cm in total length. These earrings are completely one of a kind and handmade by the artist on the Big Island of Hawaii, USA. *Please note, the Weiss Vintage Rhinestone pieces is no longer capable of being used as clip on earrings alone, as they have been upcycled and repurposed. "Weiss" is the makers mark of Albert Weiss, who founded his own costume jewelry company in 1942. Weiss excelled in floral and figural brooches and earrings. Only in business for 29 years, Weiss jewelry is considered rare due to the short amount of time in business. Weiss was an American costume jewelry company located in New York City. Lola Florence Hawaii offers her Vintage Collection as a plentiful collection with bespoke, treasured finds. The Rhinestone jewelry within the line is a nod to old Hollywood glamour. Each Rhinestone piece is made with authentic antique rhinestone jewelry dating from the 1930's to 1960's, which become the foundation for a new & uncommon design. The Rhinestone works in her Vintage Collection are influenced by the designer’s experience working with Dame Elizabeth Taylor. Lola had the privilege of working for Dame Elizabeth Taylor & Kathy Ireland...

Zen Minimalist Flowers Etching American Modernist Ed Baynard Pop Art Print
By Ed Baynard
Located in Surfside, FL
ED BAYNARD (American, 1940-2016) Flowers, Flowers in a Vase, Etching. 1979/1980, Hand signed, dated l.r., Hand numbered from small edition 12/24, Dimensions: 23 by 19 in. Framed 25 by 21 in Born in Washington, D.C. in 1940. Raised in Washington, D.C. and newly graduated from high school, he flew to Europe living off and on in Paris and London. During this time, he designed costumes for Jimi Hendrix, worked as a graphic designer for the Beatles as well as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Returning to New York, he dedicated his life to art after a surprise success with his first show in 1971 at the Willard Gallery in NYC. Ed's images are Zen-like in their simplicity and grace rendered in a flat, graphic style that recalls Japanese Ukiyo-e prints. His watercolors are luminous, like the rest of his representations regardless of the medium. The Japanese inspired ukiyo-e style woodblock prints and lithograph works he created at Tyler Graphics in 1980 contain a 20th century "floating world" sensibility. Ed's wish was to bring harmony, color, and a meditative stillness to this chaotic planet. He did so in a gentle and powerful way, always as an expression of his deep gratitude for the love and beauty, friendship, and concerns he held dearest. His first solo exhibition was in 1971 at New York's legendary Willard Gallery on the recommendation of Agnes Martin. Baynard went on to have exhibitions at galleries including Betty Parsons Gallery, New York (1973); Marian Goodman Gallery, New York (1977); John Berggruen Gallery, San Francisco (1980); and Barbara Gladstone Gallery, New York (1980/81).. Baynard manages to retain a simplicity of form inspired by a love of Japanese Woodblock prints. His new works reflect the same poetry of his earlier paintings, retaining his stylized compositions with their Zen like minimalism and Oriental calm, along with a new sense of rhythm and movement. Baynard uses familiar themes such as flowers, plants, pots, and vases, incorporating them into his delicate watercolor still lifes, thus creating stunning visual feasts. He was included in the 1972 Landscape exhibition at MoMA NY alone with other luminaries James Boynton...

Contemporary Modern The Hilton Brothers Portraits of Andy Warhol, 2007
Located in Madrid, MD
Andy Dandy (TEN), 2007 The Hilton Brothers (Christopher Makos y Paul Solberg). Pigmented inks on photographic paper. 5/5 Edition. The Hilton Brothers latest collaboration, ANDYDANDY, is a portfolio of 20 digital pigment prints. All are diptychs that combine images from Makos "Altered Image" portraits of Andy Warhol with flower images from Solberg's "Bloom" series. The images of Andy Warhol in "Andy Dandy" are the result of a 1981 collaboration between Makos and Warhol called "Altered Image", through which the photographer and his subject used unexpected combinations of simple elements to explore Identity, as did Man Ray (Makos' mentor) and Duchamp decades earlier. Warhol slightly altered his appearance with make-up and a wig, otherwise remaining in his street clothes. It was all the outward change Warhol felt he needed. Andy said, "I'm not trying to look beautiful like Elizabeth Taylor, I'm trying to show what it feels like to be beautiful like Elizabeth Taylor." Solberg's photographs of single flowers, exquisitely composed and lit, pare the images down to the intensity of color and form. Solberg undertook his study of flowers as an exercise in using light...

Paul
By Harry Benson
Located in Toronto, ON
An intimate look at one of the greatest music legends of all time, by an iconic photojournalist. From the delirium of the Beatles’ 1964 U.S. tour to the heady, shaggy days of WINGS in the 1970s and the quiet idyll of life on the family farm in the early 1990s, Paul traces the evolution of a pop superstar and of the man himself through more than 100 photographs, many never seen before. Collector’s Edition (No. 101–700), each numbered and signed by Harry Benson Maybe I’m Amazed A personal portrait of Paul McCartney by Harry Benson Harry Benson began photographing the young Paul McCartney in 1964, a pivotal year for the Beatles when they took America by storm, toured the world, and made their movie debut with A Hard Day’s Night—all documented by the affable Scotsman. And when the Fab Four called it quits, it was Benson who was afforded intimate access to Paul and wife Linda, as Paul forged a new path creatively and personally. Through Benson’s lens, Paul traces the evolution of its namesake as an icon, performer, and a devoted family man. We follow the musician at the height of his fame with the Beatles; in the recording studio with Linda and their band, Wings; with the family; behind the scenes and on stage during the 1975–76 “Wings Over America” tour; dancing the night away at a star-studded party on the Queen Mary to celebrate the band’s newest album; and with Linda on the couple’s farm in the U.K. in the early 1990s—a fittingly soft landing after so many years of flying high. Featuring more than 100 color and black-and-white images by the legendary photojournalist, many never seen before, this collection is a window onto a one-of-a-kind artist, one who has remained somewhat enigmatic despite nearly a lifetime of being in the limelight. Collector’s Edition of 600 copies (No. 101–700), each numbered and signed by Harry Benson The photographer Glasgow-born Harry Benson has photographed every US President since Eisenhower, the Civil Rights movement, and was next to Robert Kennedy when he was assassinated. As well as The Beatles, he has shot some of the biggest personalities of the last 50 years, including Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Her Majesty The Queen. In 2009, he was made Commander of the British Empire (CBE). The editor Reuel Golden is the former editor of the British Journal of Photography and the Photography editor at TASCHEN. His TASCHEN titles include: Mick Rock: The Rise of David Bowie, both London and New York Portrait...
