Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of quilted, glossy patent leather. This particular bag is the New Medium size of the collection and features a long silvertone chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price is $6200.
The exterior patent leather is clean and beautiful throughout. There is some minor wear at the corners and flap edges. The patent leather has a few faint transfer marks. The strap has light creasing and the underside has some rubbing. The hardware is bright and shiny with hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean and remains in great condition overall.
