Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel. "This particular bag is the small size of the collection and features a long antique chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price is $6400.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful with some creasing and minor scuffing. The hardware is bright and shiny and protective plastic remains on the CC closure. The interior has some scuffing and creasing to the leather. The interior tag has light rubbing but overall the bag is clean and remains in good condition.
