Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This particular bag is from the Cruise 2014 is an updated version and features an embossed cub pattern and gorgeous enamel clasp. This particular bag features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price of the 'new medium' style is $5200.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout but has rubbing all along the edges. The shoulder pad is creased and has faint soiling. The hardware is crisp and bright but has light surface wear. The interior lining is clean throughout but the leather shows a few scuffs.
