Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This particular bag was released as part of Chanel's 2013 cruise collection and is made from gorgeous light purple lambskin leather with a fabulous woven flap and shiny goldtone hardware. Retail price is $6200.
The exterior leather remains clean and beautiful throughout, but upon close inspection there is rubbing to the bottom corners, creasing, and some scratches on the leather. The hardware remains bright but has surface scratches. The interior lining is clean and overall the bag remains in great condition.
