Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of python scales and leather with silvertone hardware. This particular bag is the New Medium size of the collection and features a long antique Ruthenium chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout but show minor wear to the bottom corners and flap corners. The sides have light creasing and some of python scales are lifting slightly. The hardware is bright and shiny. The interior is clean with scuff marks but remains in great condition overall.
