Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous light green, chevron quilted lambskin leather. This particular bag is the original medium size of the collection and features a long antique ruthenium chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Last known price of the 'old' style medium size was $4700.
The exterior is clean throughout with some light soiling and wear to the bottom and flap corners. The strap ahs light creasing and there is some soiling to the leather at the base of the straps. The interior has light signs of use but remains in great condition overall.
