Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of beautiful black and beige leather with raised Chanel logo. Retail price for $7300.
The exterior leather has rubbing and wear, particularly on the edges and corners. There are scratches on the body of the bag and creasing on the strap. The hardware is bright and shiny with light surface wear. The interior lining is clean but the leather has scuffing, creasing, and a few glue stains.
